Over the years, I’ve seen too many dedicated handlers spend tens of thousands of dollars on surgeries and cancer treatments for their retired K9 partners. These brave dogs deserve lifelong medical benefits, and it’s a cause I care deeply about.

For nine years, I lived on-site at an animal hospital and pet resort, providing after-hours emergency care for active working K9s and boarding pets, while also managing the property and working full-time in surgery during the week. My hands-on background includes experience in IT, aviation, and running my own moving and handyman business. Whether it was welding, fabricating, or managing hurricane emergencies, I handled everything needed to keep the 30,000-square-foot facility running smoothly.

Coffee and dogs have always been a huge part of my life. Traveling gave me a love for small-batch coffee shops, and mainstream chains never quite hit the mark. So, I bought a small roaster and learned how to roast coffee myself. The difference was incredible, and I knew I wanted to share that experience with others.

That’s when K9 Coffee Company was born: combining my passion for coffee with my mission to support retired K9 heroes. Every cup you enjoy helps raise awareness and give back to the incredible dogs who have served us all.
